Božićno ludilo u punom jeku!

Iako sam zadnjih godina sklopila poprilično dobar pakt sa zimom i lošim vremenom oduvijek me vesele naša dalmatinska bura i sunce! Prosinac u Splitu zaista može bit neprocjenjiv i često se zna dogodit da u sred zime imamo pravi proljetni dan! Grad bude prepun svita, na Bačvicama se igra picigin ,a riva kao riva, daje gradu poseban timbar svojim malenim kućicama, kuhanim vinom, fažolom i kobasama!

Mislim da je ovo mjesec kojem pomalo zavide svi ostali mjeseci! On simbolizira fešte i proslave, daruje ljudima obilje radosti i smijeha,stoji na pragu Nove godine i donosi nam onaj osjećaj zajedništva pa makar i fejk.Nešto više od desetak godina u našoj se kući bor kiti na prvu nedjelju Adventa. Pomalo me obuzima Božićno ludilo, a Jingle Bells s malim djetetom u kući,zna se odslušat i po desetak puta dnevno! Luda sam za blagdanskim kužinavanjem, pašticadi s njokima, kolačima i prijepodnevnoj čaši šampanjca pa budem otkačena cijeli ostatak dana! Volim gužvu po ulicama i butigama, nervozne prodavačice, božićne pjesme Sinatre i Bublea i naravno crno-bijele filmove!Volim okićene izloge i ulice, ali pomalo sam tužna što je sve to pomalo siromašno za razliku od drugih europskih ,a da ne kažem svjetskih gradova! Čini mi se da sam uistinu pravi božićni nacist i da me pustit grad bi izgledao poput velikog igrališta za Djeda Mraza i ekipu!

Današnji outfit post nastao je prije neki dan u sjevernoj luci i kad gledam slike čini mi se da sam i sama okićena kao novogodišnja jelka!Suknja Tea Perića za ˝Mak˝ osvojila me na prvu svojim finim vunenim materijalom.Teška je kao sam vrag, ali nosiva u svim prigodama! Matrjoškica torbica u koju mi jedva išta stane postale mi je jedan od omiljenih komada zadnje vrime. Kod mene je sve u sentimentima , i nije važno koliko nešto košta ako mi se sviđa. Najdraže su mi stvari bile najjeftinije!

Vata me neka debuleca, pirovalo se žestoko ovaj vikend ! Još uvik se ličim juvom i ribljom lešadom, a i zvir je u laganoj fibri! Kućni đir do jaja! Barem ću u miru nacrtat domaći rad i završit generalku!

A svima vama vani šaljem jedan veliki poljubac! Uživajte u ovo predblagdansko vrime!

It Don't Mean A Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing

...Kupari, a seaside resort, is  located on the slopes of a small hill in the beautiful bay of Župa Bay, 5 km south-east of Dubrovnik. It was named after  a former manufacturing bricks and tiles that are in the Dubrovnik area called the "cup".Near the village of Kupari, in its fields, the residential house was established and built for the defence from pirates in 1623. The building had all the features of the fort with vaulted ground floor, first floor and stairs, and  still today there are loopholes.The most rapid development Kupari experienced in the second half of the 20th. century when hotel-tourist complex was built under the direction of the Yugoslav National Army. Within this complex there was the Tito´s villa  that has hosted numerous world-renowned statesmen and other dignitaries.During the war in Croatia it was complitely burned, robbed and destroyed!As soon as I saw this beautifull old hotel  , while I was visiting Dubrovnik for the first time, I knew I will come  back and make some photos here!I got up very early that day , prepared lunch for my family, borrowed  this vintage guitar from my  godfather, and went there with his lovely wife ...We  spent  2 hours  wandering around  rooms  and lobbies, admiring  beautifull wallpapers  and old decor style inhaling the  spirit of some long forgotten times....I felt like the time stopped for a moment....Regardless of the state of ruins that the building is in, it can be seen that there were once held  gala parties and that  it was crowded with people from all over the world! We  really had a great time!What will happen with Kupari, I don´t know.  I heard only that there  is a big interest  for  the investment in this huge project...I only hope that the new owner won´t  break the magic of this beautifull place....
